Lately I have been really into juicing and creating smoothies. Today I juiced carrots and turmeric roots. Using the juice as my based, created a smoothie by adding pineapples and bananas. Below is a break down of each component and the health benefits.
Carrots: great source of fiber, potassium, and antioxidants. Health Benefits includes cholesterol levels, improved eye health and can lower the risk of cancer

Tasty Carrot and Tumeric Smoothie
- 1 Cup Carrot and Tumeric Juice Juice 8-10 Carrots and 2-3 small tumeric root (peeled)
- 1/2 Banana Ripe
- 2-3 Pineapple Chunks
- Add all ingredients ( carrot/tumeric juice, banana and pineapple chunks) in a blender
- Blend for 2-3 minutes or until smooth
- Ready to serve
