Last week I had the pleasure of meeting 2 awesome Chefs at an event sponsored by Slick Greedy. Slick Greedy are a culinary conglomerate who sponsors events highlighting upcoming African American Chefs in Atlanta. During the event the chef prepares samples of there food while food enthusiasts ask the chefs questions, talk about their food and just getting to know the personally. The Eat and Greet event overall was great. Very intimate homey environment, sort of like a big family dinner. I will be discussing the chefs and their foods below.

Chef Tay is a is based in Atlanta and cook just about anything from vegan, vegetarian, seafood and everything in between. During the event chef Tay prepared a few dishes, I tried the salad topped with Salmon and Seafood Macaroni.
I know I am on the verge towards veganism but I just had to highlight the Seafood Mac and Cheese. This had to be one of the best Mac and Cheese I ever had. It was cheesy, full of flavor, full of seafood, and decadent. It was sooo delicious that I had to steal seconds!!! I would highly recommend her food, you will not disappointed!

Chef Kristis grew up with severe food allergies which prompt into cooking vegan food. Chef is based in Atlanta, Ga specializing in vegan desserts, she is best known for her vegan cobblers ( who knew cobblers can be vegan).
So I tried two of Chef Kristis’ mini cobblers, strawberry and blackberry. I do have to admit that I am not much of a sweets person but the cobblers where delicious. What I love most about the mini cobblers is that they were not dense, the ingredients were simple and fresh.
